Community Engagement

ICA Miami’s community engagement programs connect families and communities to contemporary art through hands on workshops, artist residencies, and monthly programming developed around our exhibitions.

Our programs connect local private schools, organizations and Miami-Dade Public Schools to contemporary art. ICA’s project-based workshops use the theme of identity to provide a platform for participants to think critically, not only of themselves but also their community. Our immersive tour program is designed to be accessible to K-12 students of all abilities, build critical thinking skills, and engage participants in contemporary art.
