Join ICA Miami, the Miami Design District and artist collaborative Southernmost Situations for a special performance in the museum’s Atrium Gallery, part of Miami Design District’s Site Specific Performance Series.

“Underwater Prologue” is a video installation and performance that continues the artists investigation of imaginative relationships with the sea and conspiracy theories referenced in literature. Investigations include the aquatic ape theory, HP Lovecraft, Cthuluhu Mythos, and Vonneguts’s Galapagos. “Underwater Prologue” is a collaboration between artists Liz Ferrer, Jen Clay, Kalan Sherrard, Ron Shalom and Poncili Creation and a preface to our Underwater Opera at Miami Light Project premiering May 7-17.
